Saw the car in person at a local classic car show and talked to the owner. Said it was on ebay for $69k but he'd take less. Picture is the link. Always wanted one. This particular one was apparently featured in the movie "Monument Avenue" with Martin Sheen and Denis Leary.

Best looking Ferrari. Those interiors are perfect, but rather than red, I'll take it in black:
It's like Darth Vader wanted a gated manual.

Holy crap. That's the first time a Testarossa has ever looked beautiful to me!

Really only $69k? I'd have thought they would go for more.
(I had a red (1/24 scale?) metal body toy Testarossa as a kid. Definitely a favourite toy of mine).

I had the pleasure of driving a 512 TR when I was 17. I was apparently one of five to ever drive it. The owner told me I was driving it like a pus*y, so to appease him, I hit redline in second gear. I then looked over to the speedometer and I was doing 90mph in a 45mph zone.
I guess working loyally at minimum wage under the table for 14+ hours a day, 7 days a week has its perks. After looking back on the situation, I can see how the owner of the Testarossa was wealthy enough to afford it!
I think he ended up selling it for $30k or $40k, as times were getting desperate for him.
